Oren’s Kitchen & Anaviv Catering Events are owned and operated by Chef Arnon Oren. Chef Oren, originally from Israel, has worked in the bay for many years at notable restaurants such as Oliveto and Chez Panisse. He served as executive chef at Cafe Cacao for Scharffen Berger Chocolate and created and sold a very successful gourmet nut business. Chef Oren received formal training in Lyon France at Ecole des Arts Culinaires and worked at several French restaurants. “It was wonderful to be educated in a country known for its cuisine and culinary standards.” I was impressed with the lack of fuss or excessive formality in a genuine French meal.”
